ELV’s Early Head Start-Child Care Partnership grant increases from $5 million to $6.9 million with an additional $1.9 million grant award!

ELV has been awarded an additional Early Head Start-Child Care Partnership (EHS-CCP) grant! The five-year project period with an initial federal share budget of $1,918,670 and a non-federal matching budget of $479,668 is designated to make EHS services available to an additional 110 infants, toddlers, and families through established community-based child care providers in Adams, Arapahoe, and Morgan counties. This new grant expands ELV’s total EHS-CCP enrollment capacity to 350 infants, toddlers, and families across six Colorado Counties (Adams, Arapahoe, Garfield, Mesa, Morgan, and Pueblo). ELV anticipates that the total number of participating child care partners will increase from 28 programs to about 45 and infant/toddler teacher development and participation from 140 to roughly 230.

Through these 2 EHS-CCP grants, ELV supports vulnerable children and their families in under-served areas across Colorado. The program supports the child care sector by bringing ELV’s shared services technology platform combined with EHS services to children in their current child care settings.
