David Hammond, Roundtable member of EPIC (Executives Partnering to Invest in Children), authored an article that was published in the Denver Business Journal that features Colorado’s Child Care Contribution Tex Credit (CCTC) as a viable and impactful way in which businesses can support the child care industry state-wide.
The CCTC has been fully restored in 2015, allowing parents, families, businesses, etc. the ability to donate to a child care provider and receive a 50% tax credit. All licensed child care providers in Colorado that serve children 12 and under are eligible to accept donations for the tax credit. If you are a child care provider and want to learn more about the credit, check out ELV’s flyer.
