Description
Some of my parents were required to sign their name when they logged into the parent and to sign their child in. Some had to sign at pick up. Other parents had to do something similar when using the kiosk (website) to sign in when they entered their security code.
Solutions
Your parents are required to enter a signature similar to if they sign a check. They are only required to do this one time and then the system saves it and attaches it each time the parent signs them in and out. The system attaches their signature to the Food Program and Attendance Authorization Report required for the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). There are three ways to capture the signature of your parents: 1. Parent App (mobile device) 2. Kiosk website (desktop) and 3. Kiosk app (mobile device)
Solution 1 – Parent App (mobile device)
- Download ELV Parent App (Parent Only) (App Store, Play Store, Amazon)
- Sign in using unique security code & E-Mail Address
- Click on Child Check In/Out
- Parent signs their name in box provided and clicks the check mark (√)
Solution 2 – Kiosk website (desktop)
- Log into the Kiosk (provider only): https://elv.earlylearningventures.org/kiosk/login
- Parent enters their unique security code and click Child Check In/Out
- Parent signs their name in the box provided and clicks Save
Solution 3 – Kiosk App (mobile device)
- Download ELV Kiosk App (Provider Only) (App Store, Play Store, Amazon)
- Provider enters Kiosk Username and Password and clicks Login
- Click on Child Check-In
- Parent enters Security Code and clicks Verify
- Parent signs their name in box provided and clicks the check mark (√)
Once the parent or any other delegate designated to pick up a child under Emergency Contacts/Authorized to Pickup creates their signature and saves it in the system, it is applied to the child’s record each time he or she is checked in and out.
